EBM INTERNATIONAL currently works with 30 Baptist member unions and partners on four continents.

In 1954, the European Baptist Mission (EBM) was founded, which initially worked exclusively in Africa.

In 1979, MASA ("Missionary Actions in South America"), founded in 1969 by the german pastor Horst Borkowski, became part of EBM.

At the beginning of 2009, the "Hans-Herter-INDIENHILFE", which at that time had been operating for 50 years, was added as a further area of work, which led to the renaming to EBM INTERNATIONAL.

Since July 2011, the work in Turkey with the missionaries Ertan and Marlene Cevik has also become part of EBM INTERNATIONAL, out of which the Turkish Baptist Union has meanwhile emerged.
