Since the beginning of the cooperation between EBM INTERNATIONAL and the Baptist Convention of Sierra Leone (BCSL) the support of many Baptist schools has been a core concern in our partnership. By now more than 40 churches have founded a school.
In Cameroon EBM INTERNATIONAL is supporting many medical organizations. In the northern part of the country the Baptist Partner “Union des Églises Baptistes” (UEBC) is in charge of seven different establishments, with our missionary Sarah Bosniakowski in the hospital in Garoua.
Well trained leaders are key to growth and a healthy church work. Because of her long time experience Regina Claas supports the Baptist conventions in southern Africa in leadership development. One of the core concerns of her work is the promotion of the local church leaders.
In the CTG in northern Cameroon about 150 young adults are given the chance for a vocational training. Most of the trainings are in the fields of tailoring, automobile mechanics, and metal processing. Since 2017 they are also offering trainings in the fields of hotel and gastronomy.
