In the picture you can see Pastor Rufus Kamalakar Ceedrala from Nellore in South East India. He is the leader of the ALMA Baptist Convention. He is standing in front of a small chapel that he helped inaugurate in January 2018. We asked him: “Rufus, how much money did you receive from the mission organization in order to build this chapel?”
The annual mission council’s theme of EBM INTERNATIONAL was “For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.” (2. Corinthians 4:5 NIV) where 152 delegates and guests had gotten together in Spain to be inspired and to make important decisions for the future.
Many people have been reached with the good news and become evangelists very quickly. These missionaries and pastors need good and Biblical training as well as support. In Las Tunas and in ten other places in eastern Cuba there are hundreds of members in training.
Due to lack of perspective, drug addiction, and superstition people do not have the strength to change their lives. EBM INTERNATIONAL supports churches and local missionaries to encourage people and to help them gaining control of their lives and putting them into the hands of God.
Every year there are a lot of new churches being planted in Cuba. Often everything starts with Bible clubs, a sports program, and social help for children and youths. Missionaries, co-workers, and church planters are being trained for the mission work in Cuba.
